Topics

I advise and represent companies in Germany and abroad in German labour migration law matters – where employment law and immigration law meet.

Employment of Foreign Nationals and Skilled Employees

  • Your company would like to employ foreign nationals – for example skilled workers – in Germany or

  • already employs foreign nationals and would like legal advice in this regard.

Secondments/Global Mobility

  • Your company requires legal assistance regarding the secondment of employees or posting of workers – for example from a group company abroad to Germany.

Mobile Working from Abroad

  • Your company would like to enable employees to work remotely from abroad – for example for a workation or even permanently.
Solutions

I offer the following services:

Legal Advice

I provide advice on the legal implications, risks, and possible solutions of the respective matter, give recommendations on the next steps and guide your company through their implementation.

Advice in Berlin, Germany and Worldwide

Contractual Design

Contracts are individually tailored to the specific case (e.g. secondment contracts, mobile working contracts or immigration law clauses for employment contracts).

Legal Representation before Authorities

I support your company and its (future) employees in

  • applying for residence titles (for example visa or residence/work permits, Blue Card EU) at German Embassies and Consulates abroad and at foreigner offices in Germany, as well as
  • obtaining the German Federal Employment Agency’s pre-approval.
  • Moreover, I provide assistance with the accelerated skilled workers procedure and
  • security exception agreements and other certificates according to Social Security Agreements.

Legal Representation before Courts

If any problems occur in cases such as the above, I represent your company in front of German labour law courts.

Non-German Law

In cases in which non-German law becomes relevant, I cooperate with specialised law firms in other countries which are able to advise your company on the relevant national law.
